Land of Tomorrow

Land of Tomorrow is a new coastal district in Livadia, Larnaca, masterplanned by Foster + Partners: some 350,000 m² of former industrial land along 2.5 km of the Dhekelia coastline are being turned into a publicly accessible seafront neighbourhood with residential buildings, an office cluster, a five-star hotel, restaurants, shops, a pier, a central park and pedestrian and cycling routes; over 20,000 trees are to be planted. Larnaca city centre is 10 km away, the airport 23 km, with motorway access to Nicosia and Limassol. On sale now is phase one, Block B on the first sea line (62 m to the water): five residential floors above a ground floor with two retail units, 22 apartments — one-, two- and three-bedroom units, a studio and a penthouse; every apartment has covered and open verandas, residents share a communal pool, and the penthouse and one top-floor apartment have private pools. The brochure promises high ceilings, fully glazed living areas opening onto wide terraces and panoramic sea views. Pre-construction; the price list gives no completion date yet.
